Dr. Bipasha Biswas works as an Associate Professor at Eastern Washington University,Spokane. She started her career with Saint Louis University where she was heading the Saint Louis Effort for AIDS. She did her doctoral studies at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University.

A researcher and educator, she has university level experience in teaching, mentoring and supervision of students – both undergraduate and graduate. Her area of work includes social work practice, research, and policy advocacy work in sexual and reproductive health among vulnerable populations nationally and internationally. She is an experienced trainer and has been engaged in capacity building of non-profit organizations in developing evidence-based interventions to enhance programmatic successes.

She uses and utilizes quantitative and qualitative methodologies and data analysis to integrate research and practice evidence to generate knowledge.
